Training / Qualification

Dr Imran Noormohammed is a qualified critical care physician and anaesthesiologist ,nHe did his graduation from a prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Medical college Wardha in 2001 . After graduation he worked in the department of critical care medicine , respiratory medicine as a house officer at Indira Gandhi Medical college and Mayo hospital Nagpur . His passion for serving critical care made him to join his MD in anaesthesiology at Mumbai university which he completed in 2007 . He did his further specialisation in critical care medicine after clearing both Indian diploma in critical care medicine from Care hospital Nagpur under a mentor ship of noted intensivist Dr Kamal Bhutada and his European diploma in critical care medicine from Brussels .

He worked as a free lancer Anaesthesiologist and intensivist at various hospital in nagpur and in 2013 he had set up his own critical care medicine center at Chhaoni Nagpur named Asian hospital and critical care unit which caters to emergency patients from various part around the city and neighbouring state like madhyapradesh .

His philosophy of taking part of Patient relatives in Patient care paid a rich dividends and it served to strengthen the bond between him and his patient families.

Presentations / Publications

• His love for gadgets and graphic work is well known in the fraternity and he had given some excellent graphics twice in National critical care conference at Kolkatta and kochi and received many accolades for same .
• He has delivered few talks at state level and national level critical care conference.
• He had served as a Secretary of Association of Medical Faculties , Nagpur in year 2017-18.
• He had participated as a delegates and faculty at many regional and state level conference too.

Professional Affiliations

• He is very active in Society of critical care medicine Nagpur and presently is a treasurer of same .

Special Interest

His passion for fitness and sports had further made him to do certification course in Nutrition and bodybuilding science which made him famous for body transformation. A once hobby and a passion of fitness had culminated in a a state of the art fitness company IAS FITNESS in collaboration with his two very close fitness freak doctor friends and certified fitness specialist Dr Sadashiv bhole , a noted urologist and robotic surgeon in nagpur and Dr Amol Kadu an Orthopedic and knee replacement surgeon .

The team IAS has a credit of transforming close to 150 diabetic patients by making them lose fat which helped them to reduce their drugs drastically. The company’s mission now is to inculcate knowledge and habit of structured eating and regular exercise among masses and fellow doctors
